Heyo BHW!

As the title suggests, I am facing random Google Image results ranking drops.

Last 12 months graph from Search Console.

These graphs don't add up in real life. For example, I have a really good host with 99.9% uptime, and porn tube content gets added daily. The overall website quality only rises day by day.

Has anyone experienced something similar? These are huge daily drops, and it makes me wonder, WTF.

And no, there are no DMCA claims, no ruined user experience because of a trillion ads, and no AI-generated content. All content is hand-picked and added.

no worries @RacksOnRacksOnRacks few of my clients have faced the same issue the possible reasons for this sudden drop are like Algorithm update, content duplication issues or changes in image meta data we can audit this issues using Google Search console for finding the reason and sort it out.

This may be due to previous Google updates dance, this also happens with other people, so just keep improve your site

This really starts to feel like a "dance".
I completely agree with you about improving the site.

I mean, the Arts & Entertainment SEMrush volatility indicator has been sitting at 9.2/10 for quite a while now.

Not gonna lie, this starts to feel like gambling. One morning you wake up with 35,000 unique visitors, and the next, 20,000.

You were getting 900K impressions through Google search ? Does this audience frequently click on ads ?

There is no use in focusing on impressions; clicks are what matter.

I think frequency, or lack thereof, should only be considered when we compare my site to others.
