Sub banned for being unmoderated

Hey,
Just recently got a sub banned for being unmoderated. Not huge, just a few K members.

It has no spam, there are some removed posts in mod queue due to spam control settings.

i used to log in/check stuff regularly.

So, WTF was I supposed to do? Or is it almost inevitable thing for many subs?

Reach to the reddit support and say the same to them. You probably triggered some filter (error, reddit system mistake)and ended up in a bin.

Not a big deal. Just send a modmail to r/modsupport requesting to unban the subreddit.

You have to post regularly just schedule once a month should be ok. I got banned twice and cant request the 2nd time unfortunately

You can request as many time as you want. Their no restriction on that. If you are the head mod, things are way easier.

They ignored me during the 2nd request due to being unmoderated.

Make sure you have a few moderating history on other subs if you manage multiple or just show your activeness by posting/commenting before actually making a request. While requesting make sure you promise not to let that happen again and that you will add new mods, you left moderating cuz you were on a work trip blah blah blah. Just make yourself convincing and then your profile history will be reviewed by the admins, that is where your activeness helps.

Contact Reddit again. The chances of getting it unbanned are thin, as Reddit just ignores most requests. Make use of Automod next time to deal with maximum stuff even if you're offline
