Have you ever been urged by your parents to date a girl?
Friends, every time I talk to my parents, they want me to date a girl. Oh my god, for a straightforward boy like me, I am about to collapse. I feel good living alone. I am not ready for a life with two people.
Facing the urging of my parents, I am about to give in.
I think the next time they will say: Give me a few photos of you (although I am handsome, I rarely take selfies :anyway: ), we will help you find a girlfriend, you can't get girlfriend yourself.:weep:

Bro chill, dating does not mean you have to stop living alone. Be upfront about how you are only partially available, and just meet for dates and keep your job and home secret in case they go crazy. Start by meeting for lunch or coffee or beers and then go home. It could be the best time of your life to have an adventure, but start small for your comfort! They just urging you to be more confident and social.

I understand, I've approached girls myself, but some of them thought I wasn't rich, some of them thought I wasn't interesting

Rich doesnt matter, poor people get just as much love! Try internet dating, its too easy and less stress than approaching physically. Learn some party tricks, they will make guys and girls impressed easily. Good luck!

Congrats man you are going to be a family man enjoy it man why do you worry about being committed and mingle ?

You've got to set some boundaries. It's your life, not theirs. Be firm and let them know you're not ready for a relationship. If they keep pushing, maybe it's time to limit your contact with them

Online dating is even more inappropriate, I still like to be alone

Not parents but grandparents, neighbours, etc. (I'm female btw.) Usually I'm angry af, that solves the problem xDD.

It doesn't stop once you get a GF. Then it'll be "when are you getting married?" and "when are you giving me grandkids." As long as you're happy, ignore them.

Im single so take my advice with a grain of salt lol, but attraction is very important cus the woman or whoever you're trying to attract will see that first. I believe attraction gets you in the door, but personality & honesty keeps the relationship attached y know?

yea, I agree with you

May be they want you to get married now or anytime sooner and for that they may be confused with whats your type. So they want you to find your soulmate. Just ask your parents to wait until you are ready to be available emotionally for a girl. May be you have to grow up a bit mentally to reach that state. You cant force things, let that happen with time. And when you truly feel that connection and affection for a girl then introduce her to your family and get married. Until then you better stay single no matter how long it gets! Thats better for both of you!
