So, there is a show called "Good Omens" on netflix or something. I saw season 1 way back in the day but never thought much of it. Suddenly, shorts from season two start getting recommended to me and I think "Wow, the second season must be doing okay."
But they keep coming. Over and over again, they are not just being thrown at me, turns out they are being thrown at a lot of people. So I click on one because I'm not sure why these clips are so popular.

Here is the crazy part. These shorts have crazy amounts of views on them and they are from a lot of different channels. When you navigate to those channels

You may notice that despite the difference in channel names, they all use the same music for each of their shorts. They only make shorts. Each appears to focus a particular TV show and do nothing but post clips from their chosen show. And here is the strangest part. Each of these channels is less than a year old.
If I were a paranoid person...
I might assume that the youtube algorithm is detecting a specific musical sequence and promoting whoever plays it. And thats not all. The music seems to change from month to month. Go back over the history of these channels. They all use a different music track every month and they all change on exactly the same day. Either this is a mechanism that Google uses to promote its proffered content OR it is a marketer who has completely cracked the code.
