It may be a cliche, but there is some truth behind this quote when you think about it.

I'd call my journey a failure as well. My initial goal was to hit 10m+ monthly views, and I didn't even reach half of that.

We all make mistakes, and sometimes, we may fail completely. Only those who don't take action are immune from being faultless.

I like that you have a more refined plan this time around. All that remains is for you to take the necessary steps to accomplish it.

Their json doesn't give the date added but once you have this guy's csv you can check the json file weekly yourself and update your own copy. Also I ran across this site which compiled a csv this summer but also added a general niche for each and did some analysis:

Anyway this is a nice start for competitor research if you're aiming for journey and in one of the popular niches. Obviously not so great if you want to find pinterest-popular car sites.

I'm glad you haven't given up @nasia1301 and it does sound like your new approach will lead to better results. Especially the part about finding a niche that doesn't fight against their ad pins. It does appear that they perform some review when a pinner starts gaining traction and are happy to clamp down on outgoing traffic they'd rather keep for themselves.

Just bought an expired domain and hosting with siteground!

I found a very valuable domain that has home in it and one more major keyword. So I'm happy about that.

Spent around 44 euro for domain + hosting for 1 year. I also registered a Pinterest account with the same name as the domain.

Now my plan is
- Create 20 posts. (before linking my site to Pinterest)
- Upload generic images on pinterest without links to warm up the account.
- Create 1 pin per 1 article. (I found users on X that are doing the same and doing really well)

I have dragged this journey too long, but I am very positive that i have a solid plan now. I have researched other sites in my niche and took notes.

The biggest change was definitely like increasing posting frequency and experimenting with different “styles” and seeing what does best

Hello everyone! I disappeared for a year from this forum, but I wanted to give an update on this journey because I haven't given up!

It may take some time (and mostly it's my fault for not doing the work I say to myself to do!)

Life Update: (You can skip to see my stats)
I worked on this site on and off, but didn't see any result. In the meantime, I got fired from my job around October this year and got a 2k+ payment from them and decided that I would take a 1-2 month break and then start working elsewhere.

Then life surprised me, and I found myself pregnant and jobless. The good thing is my significant other has some good income, and his family gave him a house for us to live in. But since I am pregnant, I can't find a job, so I would become a stay-at-home mom.
Therefore, with these circumstances, I told myself I had to make this site work.

There is no other option for me.

Although I am not earning the 2k that I wanted from myself, even with $500 it is the same as a part-time job in my country. So, the first goal is $500.

STATS:

My Pinterest stats these last 90 days:


Started pinning every day consistently in December, and by January 2026, I was pinning 3 pins/day.

Now I am pinning 4 per day, and I want to increase to 5-6 per day.

I know that my competition is pinning more pins than me, but I make every pin a good quality one so that I increase outbound clicks by good content, not by volume and spamming.

I have also subscribed to Pinclicks, but it doesn't seem worth it.

On January 13, I got accepted to Journey:

I have spent around $300 on SiteGround for my site to renew hosting and other services, so I will break even this month.

My other subscriptions: *don't remember the exact prices.*
Pinclicks (20$/month)
Chatgpt (22$/month)

Soooo, goal is now :

increasing revenue so that I turn this into profit.

Congrats for not giving up! This is a great update. This is your breakthrough. Ironically you're winning when you don't need the income as much as you did before.

Are the earnings from MV Journey?

I would cut your costs. Pinclicks is not worth the money. Also Siteground is among the expensive hosting services, better check the hosting section on the forum to see what's good and affordable.

Nice update! There aren't many active Pinterest journeys on BHW from what I've seen, so I rarely come here as well. Good luck on achieving your goals.

Pinclicks is not worth the money.

Interesting... I find it invaluable when it comes to keyword research. It has the largest database of official interests out of any tool out there. The amount of keywords one can find is basically unlimited. Saves me so much time to just export everything to csv then feed that data to an LLM, so it can clean it up & cluster it.
