Reddit has changed, what about us?

One weird thing I noticed is I tried Reddit ads the other day to promote my business. I created a new Reddit account to do this. No proxies, no anti detect browser. Just using normal google chrome on my banned ip lol. I paid the temporary authorization but never actually posted any ads. And the account is still not banned a week later. I thought this was weird since all knew Reddit accounts I use or create on my IP is banned pretty quickly. So I started posting and commenting freely. I posted to like 16 different subreddits in one day and the account is still active and working.

I know this can’t be a solution for everyone, but I wonder if the ad accounts and premium accounts have absolutely free range to do whatever. Think about how bad for business it would be for them to shadowban an account actively spending money.

What's temporary authorization? never see it on reddit

It is an ads thing. You have to put a credit card on file so that you’re charged for running ads on Reddit. Reddit charges that credit card $10 first to make sure it is active before running ads and setting up the account

The famous premium was tested by one of my clients for sending private messages. It worked for a couple of days, but then they got banned. Even premium is not immune to bans.
