Hello all,after 1 year trying to work hard and making few bucks for myself i was thinking about investing all my money on buying essential oils from alibaba,but what i am afraid is about the quality that they have.
if you can help me with a review i would be very thankfull

Where are you based?

Why are you intending to invest everything in essential oils? Do you know the market? Do you have guaranteed sales?

Can't you test with a local supplier in small batches to verify the market?

Again, where are you located?

Because most ES have a lifespan between a year or two. They oxidise, go rancid, the chemical composition changes and can cause skin irritation etc.

So the time from production to your sale has to be managed.

i live in croatia and have one family shop as we sell 2 essential oils
about selling i am not 100% garantuee but i think that i have a lot of people that want some oils
while for the life what i think is that i will order products that will live like 6 months as i think in that time i will sell them

What is the quantity you're looking to purchase?

I am concerned because you're making this out to be an "all in" situation.

You've no experience with importing. It's not as simple as making a regular ecommerce purchase.

You don't have a trusted supplier, just some listings on Alibaba (with what I am assuming are very attractive prices)

You'll have to research the import duties if any, the delivery timelines, the cost to get the oils to your door etc.

I'd personally be extremely weary of importing anything perishable from Alibaba. Especially things that you'll sell straight up and can cause a lot of physical issues for your customers.

yes i get it there are also costs but what i really need is to know if for real there are oils with quality

Essential oils are not really oils, and if you store them correctly they basically don't have any expiration date, you can store them during decades (if they are organic good quality products)

Check your Source and be aware about import regulations to different locations!!!

I have had troubble with my EU Customer-base with something similar when using amazon FBA...

I dont buy this kind of product on alibaba or in China. Always locally and from a trusted company.

There are two types of sellers on Alibaba. One is a trading company. They do not produce products themselves. They go to the manufacturer to place orders according to the customer's order, and then pack and send them to the customer.
The other type is the manufacturer. Their prices may be a little cheaper, but the service may not be so professional.
Many of my customers are sellers on Alibaba, and I am quite familiar with them.
You can try to ask them for some samples before placing an order, and express them to you. Usually you only need to pay a small fee. But generally, high-quality large sellers will not pay attention to your request at all, because they don't lack customers at all.
