Hey guys,

I was just wondering how much could it help my blog post rankings if I make a YouTube video and embedding it in my related blog post?

Is it possible to see a significant change in my rankings if I do this for each blog post?

Not much. You need to have consistent views on your YouTube for this method to work. And then link your YouTube with your website. As for SEO I am 99% sure that this does nothing to your blog.

It might increase 'page on time' for your blog, which is a ranking factor. It measures how much time visitors spend on your website, the more time the better. It signals to search engines your page is valueable for the visitor.

If the video has good amount of views, yes it could be bring lots of visitors to click on your website

But if you mean as a backlink for your site, no, it won't have much impact

of course it's good idea to brand your blog/site with huge visitors involved platforms.

If you can see the significant changes , you are open to this for your all posts.

At the same time , there are other ways like link building methods available for standard real-time traffic growth.

Thank you everyone for your responses

I don't know if it will help you in the short term, but if your video gets pushed by the algorithm some day, you'll enjoy a free surge in traffic. Doesn't hurt doing a video. Go for it.

It won't move the needle
But you could use the video to drive traffic from YT to your site

i think as long as the video keeps getting good number of views it can make a difference , no views no changes
