Hi everyone,

I'm trying to understand how it would be possible for an aged domain that has no relevant anchor backlinks to rank for a wide range of high value keywords.

The aged domain is a static one page site that when you click on any part of it, you are redirected to the target site. When I check the target sites profile it has no backlinks linking to it. They repeat this process as it the aged site always gets penalised after a while.

I have no idea how it is possible so I am curious to see if anyone might have some ideas.

Very interesting, can you please share the domain/website in PM?

aged domain likely leverages its historical authority to rank temporarily, but without strong backlinks it’s penalized over time this is a common churn and burn seo tactic

The thing is that is starts with no traffic and then starts to increase over the months. I checked new backlinks in the last 3 months and nothing new appears or is really poor quality with no relevant anchors.

Could be because of algo dancing or else, how long have you seen the site stay at the top of the rankings?

Here is the profile of the site https://ibb.co/f0svDdM

It has been climbing and recently it is starting to grab all of the top spots. This is in the pharma industry so I am noticing Amazon and other providers coming in.
