Link strength? How/where do you calculate that?
They work, but it's hard to want to put the time into doing it when theres people who can afford xrumer and are doing it a million times faster
Ok, to convince me PROVE IT!! Tell me a keyphrase in which your site is ranked. I will track the back links to make sure they are forum links.

Prove it to you? I helped by telling you that it does work. Whatever you're doing you must be doing it wrong. Even if I showed you my sites with the BL it won't show all the BL I have for that page. Start worrying about ranking and not how many backlinks show up.
How many forums do you post on? and since you said you do it manually how so? How many links? etc.
I know right? The guy must be pretty dumb.
Do forum owners have asked you for a link back in exchange of a signature link?
never because if you do your profiles right the forum owner should never know you were there.
That's funny. A webmaster asked me for a backlink in exchange of my link signatures. So you recommend to place in profile links better than in post?
Hi there,
Making a test I tried to find out whether forum signatures and on post links are still worthy. I created a blogspot blog, added some original content and placed a link on a related forum. Here the results, the blog was indexed quickly, however the crawler is not indexing the rest of the blog pages. Moreover, It is not even found by placing the complete url on Google search box, only using the site command.
Is this means the link was worthless?
Are you still having success on link signatures on forums?
You're OBVIOUSLY very new at this...
You created a blog and then made a forum post and you call that a TEST? LOL.
Have you ever had new sites indexed by Google before? When the majority of my new sites are indexed, all that ever shows up in Google's database is the main url until their bot comes back and spiders the site again. Which, it is going to KEEP DOING to figure out how often you add content to your site. Will it be a site that adds content on a consistent basis? Will it be a site that rarely adds content? These are the things that Google is attempting to figure out about your site.
The fact that the blog got indexed QUICKLY (you said it -- not me) means that your test worked.
However, if it is in fact a new site, I would hold off on creating a lot of backlinks until it's at least a month old... I actually like waiting a month and a half. Build backlinks too quickly and your site will go into Google's sandbox and tread water there until it gets out.
For NOW, I would concentrate on CONTENT. Establish a pattern of adding content at least 3 times a week to keep the GoogleBots coming -- spidering and indexing your site. Keep that up for a month to a month and a half. Then lower your addition of content to once a week and start building deep backlinks to content pages along with backlinks to your main url.
Forum backlinks do in fact work whether you're using signatures or posts...
