I am always so uncertain about downloading these types of apps.

Had an issue where within minutes of having downloaded an app my Facebook was hacked and had a restriction on my acc for a year.

I use this MOD version on my android phone. I think it's fine so far. It blocks ads well and also allows you to hide the details you don't need on YT. If I had to choose between Premium and this one, I would still use this one https://gocmod.com/youtube-revanced/

I don't think there is a legit way to get YouTube Premium for free long-term.
However, YouTube sometimes offers free trials or discounts, so keep an eye out for those!

Nope no way to get it for free, there is a trick to buy cheaper but not sure how remember that anyway to get advantage for free or using third party apps yourr account could get banned if is a second email you don't care is ok but if is your main email be carefull there wiith what you do.

Probably for a month some times? I remember signing up for something similar and got subbed after that as it was one of the best subs I had ever taken.

If you want it cheap, try registering for an Indian account and pay with Indian cards. You can get a family account (total 5 different google users) for probably around $4/m. Google it.
