whats the matter with the keyword

i have a website ranking for a keyword: webdesigner in vienna and it is doing really strange, im not sure why.
the rankings go up and down up and down all the time... i really dont understand it.

when i bought for example a pbn link it went up for a few days but immediately dropped awell...

i dont have this with any other site.

What can be the reason for it?

yh its true, this keyword is not only high comptetive but also there are many agencies etc that spam it all the time. you basically can see every day someone new coming with that keyword and ranking high... what can i do to secure the top positions?

Try getting a few strong links and improve content.

Content can be improved by either adding new pages or modifying existing ones.

Try to cover the topic in more detail. You can introduce blog on your website for example talking about design.

but the problem is, that every 2 weeks u have for the same keyword new webdesign agencies ranking. Its insane... All the time someone new comes up.

That is it in a nutshell but you can interlink to other pages too if relevant. Get inspired by your top competitors if they have blog.

And make sure not to "cannibalize" in other words talk about the same topics with multiple pages.

I would focus on just content with blog for now and leave backlinks for the homepage.
