This Is How I Increased My Traffic By 150%

Placing misspelt words in post tags for a post will surely get you looked down upon by Google for keyword stuffing. Iv seen a few people placing hundreds of keywords in the TITLE TAG. I dont think Google likes seeing this.

Even amazon is doing it:

Code:
http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/tags-on-product/B001HN694K/ref=tag_dpp_cust_edpp_sa

Look at whats going on further down the rabbit hole:

helena bonham carter(19)
helena botham carter(2)
johnny depp(38)
jonny depp(2)

Have you seen amazons rankings in google? :) The only other site that has more #1 rankings than them is Wikipedia.

I'm seeing the tags, but where are you seeing the mispelt ones?

I didn't use the second step, because I really didn't want a bunch of mispelled tags on my pages, but I'm curious.

anyone know a simple way to mass edit posts for misspelled tags?

pucky,

Placing Misspelled words are not looked "down upon" by Google, and that's just another Internet Marketing Myth.

This isn't about keyword stuffing because you aren't repeating the same keywords over and over.

It's not like you put "make money, make money, make money" etc. it looks more like "make money, makke money, makee money" etc. This is not keyword stuffing if used correctly.

You would have to use common sense though, like you couldn't have 300 tags per post.

kharm,

I wouldn't recommend doing this for all of your posts, but I would do it to some of the new ones you make in the near future.

I wouldn't recommend every single post having misspelled tags because then Google might think your website is not English and just a bunch of gibberish.

You would have to use a percentage as with everything else like when doing optimization of a site.

Will this plugin change the actual page title?

If so, how about my backlinks?

jamesgarrityE271,

It wouldn't change your actual page title.

It would just add internal link structures to your specific pages based on the exact keywords being used for that relevant page.

In other words, it super optimizes your website.

I listed them for you in my post. Those are two examples of mispelled tags in amazon in just one product. Keep looking at all of amazons products and you will find TONS more. I'm talking millions.

Thanks for the post.really useful. But,instead of that plugin I am using Seo Booster Pro which is cool

well, i generated some keyword misspellings and plugged them into google. it seems the same results displayed because google displays results for the right keyword not the misspelling. see?http://www.google.com/#hl=en&source...=f&aqi=&aql=&oq=&gs_rfai=&fp=bd5d242cb4a6e84c

It really doesn't matter. There is a fair number of people who will see your page first and then click on it, rather than looking to correct their spelling. Just look at the traffic increases everyone is getting. It's proof positive.

When you say : Then you select "double letters" (works best) or "skip letters" (pretty good), do you use both or either or ?

So you make a " Tag slug " for every keyword ?

ch8878,

I mostly use the "double" spelling, I wouldn't recommend doing both, since it will give you a TON of tags, then it might look a bit spammy.

I don't make a tag slug for every keyword.

Then what do you do because when someone clicks on the tag they leave your site ?

My website has been averaging about 100-300 visitors a day, and now I implemented a few quick things, and it's averaging about 600-1000 visitors per day!

These steps only work for wordpress websites.

Step 1: SEO SearchTerms Tagging 2 Plugin

HTML:
http://wordpress.org/extend/plugins/searchterms-tagging-2/
You add the "popular search terms", "recent search terms", and "popular terms in category" widgets in your appearance section.

You then set the configuration to show 100 instead of 10.

This plugin optimizes all your pages and posts for the search terms, and also shows you what people are typing into google to get to your page.

Example:

Let's say your page title is "Monkeys Eat Bananas On Trees In Hawaii"

This plugin will then show you what terms people searched for and arrived on your page. So it would show for example the keyterm "monkeys bored eating hawaii bananas and farting", the plugin at this point also optimizes that specific page for relevant keywords and exact search terms.

Then if someone searches "banana monkey lovers" and gets to your page, then it also optimizes for that keyword.

Now your not going to get 1,000 people searching for "monkeys bored eating hawaii bananas and farting", but when you have hundreds of keywords per page being optimized your traffic will increase.

Step 2: Misspelled Keywords

HTML:
http://tools.seobook.com/spelling/keywords-typos.cgi
example: it's a page you made about "Lil Wayne In Jail Writing Songs"

Your tags "lil wayne,jail,writing songs"

Put your post tags in the following format in the tool:

lil wayne,
jail,
writing songs,

Then you select "double letters" (works best) or "skip letters" (pretty good), and you click generate typos, then you get a bunch of misspelled keywords that you could use for tags.

These two steps implemented have increased my traffic by over 150%

Take advantage and increase your own traffic!

Where did you get this idea? Was it from here?

I think you got it from Sean Donahue
