Hey everyone,

I’m looking to expand my understanding of SEO and would love to hear about the latest best practices for optimizing content that is both user-friendly and well-regarded by search engines.

I’m particularly curious about specific strategies that can enhance user experience (UX) and how these might positively influence search rankings. If anyone has had success in this area or has practical advice to offer, I’d really appreciate it!

Thanks in advance for your insights!

  • Don't obsess over including certain keywords or phrases. What is going to matter is that whether you are able to engage your reader/ user for a greater amount of time than your competitors and whether you prioritise catering to their search intent or not.
  • Try to include as little fluff as possible to make sure they peruse what they had intended to when they land on your website. Like a post titled say "Jordan Belfort Book review" should talk about his books and their reviews and not some boring life history of the dude himself.
  • Stay away from AI please. It will mess up your user metrics greatly and the rankings you secure with AI content will never be sustainable.
  • Use tables, lists, bullet points, H2, H3 headings to present things properly.
This is what is coming to my mind as of now. Would be happy if other members could add something insightful to these basic things.

The first thing you should improve is your site loading speed and everything related to it like LCP, FID, and CLS

This will make your site better for both user and search engine

If your content is pretty close to perfect, then your UI is your secret weapon .

Don't demonize AI content - if it is well used and proofread you won't tell the difference.
In fact, I am pretty sure that paid writers are using it for their work.
