False. Roughly 33% of sites on the internet in 2024 are drop shipping... Safe to say theres still years and years of it working.. Ofcourse your shipping times have to be better in 2024, besides that it still works mate.

100% agree to OP ; people get locked in by fiverr posts with "i built you a 7 figure store" - be like, stfu... Even finding the right product (even if you have access to all those nice tools), pay for marketing & then for the time you spent.
If someone has an idea or direction how it could work (without telling the "secret"), i would be very interested.

But from my pov, people said 10 years before dropshipping is dead, 5 years before the same, and now the same. Guess what, i agree.
Oversatured. Long delivery times. Marketing. etc etc

No, sorry - I work more than 15 hours a day / 7 days a week. I am not lazy, but I am not proud of working so much.
I used the best paid tools, had a really good supplier, a bit of knowledge when it comes to finance.
Oversaturated - one sentence earlier, "free tools" = low barrier to entry.

They'll always be more customers than people making businesses. Basic math.

I prefer not to comment on this and leave this "basic maths" uncommented, one word: macroeconomics.

Low barrier to entry = 95% still fail, as in your case. sometimes the answers right infront of us and we can't see it, so I don't blame you as that was my experience my first year on BHW, I then re-read a lot and suddenly the answers appeared. anyways.. to say it doesn't work when hundreds are doing it successfully, and some even make free youtube videos about it is just dumb. This forum is about helping each other succeed and encouragement, well at-least that's how I've experienced it (for the most part always some bad apples)

It’s tough, but if you’re fast and one of the first to start selling a certain product - you WILL be profitable. A lot of money goes to testing new products though. Organic TikTok method eliminates the need for as spend, but requires more time.
