Hello,

Adwords is on a 100 per day and makes 1-3k affiliate sells.
If i would spend 100 per day on Meta with some research and algo learning could i do better or worse?
Is there a difference between Insta and FB? If so whats should i learn.
I am 100% New to Meta

More info required. Niche?
Also, if you're making that kind of return, should be pretty obvious to you that you should try some A:B tests on Meta.

You have the budget to do so.

Hello,
Thank you for your reply!
No niche "normal" produkts what you can use at home from a 50-500 range
You mean A:B for the Insta / FB thing or the overall Adwords vs FB?
In both cases your right with the A:B Version.

Should i stay on adwords or is the Meta market open for basic products as well, no hype no seassion no brand just dry a*s everydy stuff.

I'd suggest setting up A:B on Meta and giving it a solid run - 100/day x 30 days.
Setup many ad sets and compare peformance,

In 30 days you can assess the overall performance. If it flops, which is unlikely but possible, then you've cost yourself only 1-3 days earnings.

Obviously keep Adwords running alongside.

All in all thats the best way i think.

It really goes down to your niche and the ideal target audience that you want but I think Meta is an amazing and powerful traffic source

Facebook drives the cold traffic. Google drives the warm traffic. Both in combination is the most powerful tool.
Could you explain in a few words what warm and cold traffic is?
As i said no niche basic stuff like kitchen stuff.

Brg & Thank you both!

Cold = They've never seen your product before
Warm = They already know or have an idea about your product

Also, that's still a niche. There's always a niche, even if you're selling 30 completely different items, it's still 1 or 2 main niches you're under, whether it be gadget or general store etc

Some campaigns work better on Google Ads and some on Meta.
It's down to the way you set up your campaigns and the product.
None of them is objectively "better".

Meta could work well, but it'll take time to learn the platform. Instagram's great for younger crowds, while Facebook’s better for older ones test both

In my experience, Google still reigns supreme—not just because it's Google, but because users typically go there with intent. When someone searches on Google, they're often actively looking for that product or something similar, meaning they already have an interest in buying.

Now, think about Facebook. Do you use it when you're in "shopping mode" or ready to make a purchase? Probably not.

To outperform Google, you'll need a killer ad and an irresistible product deal (again, speaking from my own experience).

That said, many factors come into play—your audience's age, gender, interests, etc. The best approach is to run A/B tests on both platforms to see what works best for your specific product or niche, as there’s no one-size-fits-all solution.

It depends on your goals. Meta Ads (Facebook/Instagram) is great for audience targeting and social engagement, while Google Ads (AdWords) excels in search intent and driving direct conversions.

Many thanks to everyone who took the time to answer!
1. very good point about the old/young on Facebook and Instergram, I hadn't considered that.
2. i will check my target group and then do an A/B test as many have advised me to do.
3. as many have said, I don't think there is 100% better or worse. It depends on the TG and the product.

Thank you very much for the food for thought and a nudge in the right direction.

You could see similar or better results on Meta with proper research and learning, but Instagram tends to perform better for visuals, while Facebook is great for detailed targeting both have their strengths!

Social engagements - FB ads is the best. My campaigns in FB have lower conversions (sales) when compared to google ads.

If you spend $100/day on Meta, you could do as well or worse it depends on how well you optimize, but Insta and FB have different vibes Insta is more visual and younger, while FB’s better for older demographics and long-form content. Best to start learning both, but focus on creative quality and targeting!
