I am getting really tired of always having my site down because they say it was attacked by a malware ...there is always a malware. They have restored my backup a million times and I am getting fed up.

Can someone recommend a better alternative to Namecheap that is probably the same cost and is probably a lot more secure. This is affecting my business.

if you want malware free hosting then try ovhcloud or the-online.com (both are good and I'm using). The-online.com does has free in-built malware scanner in their cpanel hosting dashboard and also on managed wordpress plans. So it scans and removes malware (if any) without taking down the site. you can manually run it too. Also, you can go with any web host which offers similar service its called immunify360 (its paid) but free on certain web hosts.

I had the same problem with name cheap. The question is are you responsible for the malware?

Last time, I installed free ssl and that was the main reason for the malware.
you mean their free namecheap ssl?

https://websitehosting.cfd/about-our-company/ is who he is describing above - used them for years - good sauce
Um no I wasn't wtf, I just shared something totally not related but found someone present something that's also unrelated and still be useful.

Man that's how you use back links right there, you see people you learnt something.

No I wasn't referring to that other than what ever I said, but if you have a grey site avoid paid accounts they hold your banking details like name address, if its legit keep it, but if you rank and then your domains up for renewing thats where the domains make their money holding your account to ransom tactics.

Id settle on free anyday over paid, but if you seriously know what your doing sure that to.

Namecheap is a perfectly fine hosting/domain provider. The fault is probably yours.

Talking about alternatives I use cloudflare as my registrar these days. Atleast for domains that I keep for the second year and so on because you are never gonna get it for $1 when you renew.

Speaking of servers I use namecheap vps. Works absolutely fine. No problem whatsoever.

I have used Namecheap for a decade without any issues. The fault is likely in something you're doing, and as such will continue no matter which registar you use. Soz.

Since I own around 400+ domain names here are a few of my favorites.

Dynadot
Namesilo
Porkbun

With Dynadot being the absolute number one.

For me ovh and namecheap works very good

Thanks for your input. The reason I suspect Namecheap is the fact that they say my cpanel is attacked by malware and this is likely the 3rd time this is happening.

They have helped in restoring the backup and this restores the websites until it happens again. When they scan the website, I do not have any idea what to do with the results of the scan to find what a malware is.

This affects every single website I have hosted under the same hosting account. What they say instead is I should get site lock and site lock costs an additional $5 monthly so what this means is I need to pay an extra $50 every single month plus the cost of hosting which sounds ridiculous to me.

I am willing to try out anything else you guys think I should do. Thanks.
