AI Content - Is That Harmful To SEO?

Hi all,
I’ve been creating SEO blog articles for my website, and all content is purely human-generated. However, when I run it through various AI detection platforms, it’s still flagged as AI content. I’ve tried using humanizing tools to rewrite, but the quality is awful, so I’m committed to sticking with my original content.

Given that it’s being detected as AI-generated, will this have any impact on validation or rankings in light of the core updates?

If you are 100% confident that what you have is handwritten, no need to worry. AI detection tools are the biggest scam in the IM industry right now IMO. There have been various threads here on BHW discussing this very same thing.

If the content is 100% human, ignore those AI detectors, they are not reliable. You don't need to humanize something created by a human.

All Ai detection tools are not scams. They might be inefficient but you cannot call them scam because of this.

My webmaster clients who have been in the IM industry long enough can figure out whether a piece of content is AI generated or not just by reading it. And this is why I only work with those folks who have this basic ability. I mean if you cannot figure out the AIness of a content just by reading, then probably you should choose some other profession. AI detection tools are clever cons as well.

Generally ai content is not indexed much after google core update but if you write it yourself then i think you avoid the results of ai content checker. Otherwise you shoud rewrite your content how your competitor has built.

They are not that accurate, if you making the content by your self without using AI tools, no need to check it on AI detector tools

Most of the AI tools are not accurate. If you are sure that the content is handwritten and high quality you can use it. Just make sure that articles are structured well and relevant to your website.

my 5 year old ecommerce says it's not harmful. if you use AI properly and actually human edit the content and make sure it reads well and is informative.

my traffic has trebled 10 fold for pennies since AI came out. it's all i ever use now.

AI detectors are not accurate, If the contents are human-written, then formatting should be proper, and don't use rewrite tools for humalizing the content.
Publish the original content with proper formatting, with relevant categories, and add some tags. It will not affect your website.

Well well, from my personal experience, it all boils down to prompt and your edits. Ai saves you time but you need to spare some minutes to edit the content. My site is currently running on Ai content + Human touch (to remove the 'Aishness' of the content) and we have some articles sitting on 1st position and several other articles sitting on Google's first page. And these articles don't have backlinks to them when they ranked. I recently started pushing to get backlinks for them to help retain that spot.

I may not have the time to answer further questions on this so here is more details:

The site was created in May. We have some decent backlinks already and DA of 5 on Moz. and 8 on Semrush and DR 18+ on Ahref.

Traffic is low. Monthly we get between 500 to 1,000 visits. There's room for growth.

Don't worry about it. I think a lot of hype around the ai director is unjustified. If your content is written by a human being, this is a fact, you should not worry about humanizing the text, it can worsen the situation.
Post the content. Wait a little while - analyze whether the content is indexed - draw conclusions. In the worst case scenario, you will have to rewrite the text a bit.

A.I. tools are scam, they even interpret human writing as A.I. writing. I don't think you will have a problem, I mean A.I. content ranks as long as it's useful.
