Direct messages and forum posts mixed under profile

If you have pages and pages of conversations with people but you need to find something under their previous forum posts then this complicates things as they are now all mixed up under this tab:



Maybe there can be an extra tab for forum posts?

I noticed this as well. I'm unsure if it's a bug or a new feature.

I'll contact the tech department to see what they think. I'll update this thread once I have an answer.

I got a response back.

It shows up that way because direct messages are searchable now.

I completely get wanting to find someone's posts without seeing the direct messages you have with them there in the mix. There is still a way to do this, though: if you use the "search threads" function in the advanced search tool, it does pull up all posts made by that member and not just the opening posts, so they can use that. I'll just tell that member to do that from now on.
