Hi there!
So I have turned on the "watch forum" feature for some sub-forums but the notifications on BHW notification button just don't come through for some threads. This started happening after the recent update when the like button was changed. Is anyone else being affected by this issue as well? Will appreciate if this is resolved as the alternative is then manually going through sub-forums which isn't something I prefer to do.

Hey CL, We are having problems recreating this; when we test it, we see the notifications as expected in alerts. Your list of watched forums is here:
https://www.blackhatworld.com/watched/forums. Can you check that the subforums you're expecting to be notified on are set? If they are, please visit each of those subforums and UnWatch them, then watch them again. If you still see the problem after doing this, please contact support linking to this post, and we can dig deeper. If the above suggestion does work I'd appreciate a Direct message just to say it worked.
I have this issue too with notifications but for me, when the notification comes in and I see red in the corner.. it disappears at the very same moment. If I hadn't seen it, I might have missed it.
1 notification didn't come through earlier for a subforum that I'm following (2 came but there were 3 new posts so the third one didn't).

@INCC - I can't recreate what you're seeing either, but I'd say it's unrelated to CLs issue above.
As part of the default functionality, when you click on the watched forum or thread, it removes the alert without you going into the alert as you've already visited that thread. I wonder if that is what you're seeing?
Let me explain further - You should still be able to see all the alerts here
https://www.blackhatworld.com/account/alerts I'm assuming the alert is in there but without the red icon (see below), once you have visited one of the topics of the alert?
For example you have an alert set up to notify you of any new threads posted in suggestions and feedback. Someone posts a new thread is suggestions and feedback - you visit the Suggestions and Feedback subform, through the side nav bar, without going into the alerts, the platform see's you've visited that subforum and will remove the alert.
If this is not the case please also raise a ticket via support referencing this link, providing a screen recording of what you're seeing and we can dig deeper.
