So I'm tried using some proxies and it seems like some of them are customizable by geo-city and some that list the city but use the nearest server. I'm using apps on an android and need the IP to stay in the same city. I found that some of proxies "rotate". I need something that

1. Won't go to another city when I open it back up
2. Long term, static location for 1-3 months
3. Able to select city/zipcode(Ex. Houston, Pittsburg, Orlando...)

I used Nsocks and bigmama and they work for a week or 2 max and then I either need to replace due to blacklist, downtime, or changed location. If I don't the app will consider fraud since it will show a different location when I open up the android/app. I haven't been able to find one that has the accuracy of the city along with renewable/long term usages. With those 2 I have to check every morning to see if the proxy is still at same location. Is there something so that I don't have to check every time?

When I tried a rotating proxy after selecting a city then next day the IP went to another state(spyderproxy). So I think it's not what I'm supposed to use but all the ones(tried/looked at 10 different sites) that have static residential on the Marketplace don't have the selection/accuracy. Maybe I'm missing something?

Also, I use Turn2Tap(if you have suggestions for one that can hold multiple profiles or easy to use)

Any suggestions/advice is appreciated!

bhw many hundreds of sellers who should fit your needs

Yes thats where I found a couple that work for the short term. However with so many options and functionality, I'm not sure if there is a specific provider that would better fit my needs.

A good option might be to find a small private seller on the BHW marketplace offering mobile proxies. You should choose someone located in the desired city. If these are mobile proxies (regardless of whether they're sourced from a dongle or a phone), you're guaranteed to have a consistent IP geolocation since the seller’s mobile device will be in the same place. If you need to change cities later, you can simply switch to a different seller.

It doesn't pass this requirement - 2. Long term, static location for 1-3 months. Your suggestion only can guarantee geolocation, not the IP itself.

Hmm, I'm a bit confused by your comment, as the original poster specifically ask for a static location, and there's no mention of the static IP. Moreover, the author mentions that he is "using apps on an android", so mobile IPs would be a good option, consistent for use in mobile apps. Rotating mobile IPs while maintaining location in this case should not be harmful, as mobile IPs are dynamic by their "nature".

Apologies if I'm missing something! I'm writing this not to argue with you, but to elaborate on my point a bit more! I hope this might be helpful

You're right, I misread it

nsock is good or bad?

I am sure my static residential fits your needs, and you won't find cheaper.

Any recommendations for providers?
Here are the most important things to consider before actually buying residential proxies from any provider:

1. Figure out how much traffic, proxy pool size, and speed you need
2. See what locations are available
3. Compare the prices
4. Check what the customer support is like in case you run into any problems

Mobile proxies are generally excellent but might be overkill of sorts for your purposes. You'll want to explore your options and check out the Marketplace section or post on the Want to Buy section. Just make sure the IPs are of good quality.

Mobile proxies can be tough on location. Sometimes even though we are in city A, the IP will show from city B (usually a larger, major city of the country - NZ in our case)

Yes that's why I've been purchasing static residential or ISPs usually. It's a bit of trouble whenever I need a smaller city and all the locations are at a larger city 100 miles away(in the US).
