Is it just me or quora really turning into a ghost platform?

I use to post a question on Quora and get answers in few hours, a very useful answers usually from people who knows what they are talking about, but now i post question and get no answers at all even if if send 100"s sending requests, or i get bombarded with useless ai generated answers, same thing when brows related questions , AI is killing Quora, so is anyone experiencing the same thing or it is just me

It's not just you. The platform has gone to shits. I don't know how or why it went south.

I stopped visiting the platform a few years ago. The few times I open the app on my phone, I'm forced to update the app. Almost everytime, I got fed up and uninstalled it.

AI is replacing every helpful human content for trashy generated texts with vague explanations
Not only on Quora...sometimes, even here on BHW you can see people answering with AI garbage

I haven't found a genuinely good answer on Quora in what feels like 5 years. Anytime I google a simple question and click on a Quora result, the answer to my extremely simple question is answered by a guy posting 8 paragraphs detailing his whole life story, then finishing it with an ambiguous ending that doesn't even answer the original question. It's awful.

Same story, I totally understand! It used to be that you could quickly get really good answers on Quora, and from people who knew the topic. I used to use this platform to share knowledge all the time, but recently the situation has changed completely. There are either no answers at all, or their quality has dropped significantly - and I definitely feel that most of them are created by artificial intelligence. Instead of the useful information that used to be the basis of Quora, there are general phrases that make little sense. And those who can actually answer in substance are probably just tired of this flow and no longer participate. I think a lot of people feel the same way, so you're definitely not alone in this

I've noticed an AI answer thing that outranks any of the organic answers people post in the last few months. Not sure why they'd do that considering it defeats the community/social aspect of the site.

The real people left Quora a few years ago, I think they got tired of the ad bots
