Hey, I it would be amazing if someone could help. I’m having trouble with Reddit and have received bans on a few accounts. The first ban likely occurred because of a bad supplier; the account lasted about a week with some post and comment karma before getting banned. Yesterday, I noticed another account posting the exact same image in the same subreddit as my previous account. Another account I was preparing to use also got banned, probably due to a bad proxy.
I’ve observed that Reddit seems to think I’m in Malaysia, even though IP checkers show that I’m in Chicago.
So, my question is: what kind of proxy should I use? I’ve read that many users recommend rotating residential proxies, but I’ve been using a static residential proxy. I thought it was a good choice because my first experience with Reddit wasn’t too bad—the account purchased with this proxy lasted about a month with around 100 posts daily. Is static residential a poor choice?

For Reddit, switch to rotating residential proxies instead of static ones. They offer multiple IPs, reducing the risk of bans. Ensure your proxy's location matches your actual or desired location to avoid discrepancies. Avoid repetitive posting patterns to further minimize ban risks.

An important thing to remember is to set them to stay fixed for a certain duration (for example, if you know your session lasts 15 minutes, set it to 20 minutes). Each string is a different IP, so make sure to use multiple strings as well

You can use 4G proxy’s for more accounts at ones (since you can rotate the proxy)
Once you Reddit account got banned with a static residential proxy, you can say goodbye to the proxy (when it comes to Reddit)

thank you for your advice. You mentioned 4G proxies, could I use 3G proxies instead? They are less expensive, but I'm concerned they might not be as reliable. Is the only limitation the speed?

It is possible that Reddit is banning your accounts because you are using a static residential proxy. Static residential proxies are not as good at hiding your identity as rotating residential proxies. This is because Reddit can track your activity back to your real IP address if you are using a static residential proxy.

use 4G proxy’s and check the country option in the reddit profile. select the targeted country/location and use to log in from same place always. Everything would be safe

Did you log and manage these accounts on the same device? Or did you use antidetect browser? You should combine antidetect browser with proxy so that you can create unique working environment for each accounts and avoid being detected and suspended

Great that’s what I’m starting. Gathering a bit more info as I go. Luckily already got a client. Genuine mobiles with sims not usb dongles etc

You can use a static resident proxy as well, but be sure to do a ip blacklist check

There is no problem using residential ip. You may have a new account, but you post too many posts every day. How do you operate it? If you use python scripts to post, there is no problem. I once had a new account that sent more than 80 posts a day.
