Is it better to put text on a reel or post from a tool like canva or from instagram directly? Will the keywords of the video be noticable by instagram if the text is from canva?

I dont think it really matters, what matters is the content and how audience reacts to it.

It's better to use Instagram’s native text tools when adding text to a reel or post. Instagram's algorithm might better recognize and analyze text added directly within the app, potentially boosting visibility for relevant keywords. When you use tools like Canva to add text to your video, Instagram may not “see” the text in the same way since it becomes part of the image or video file, rather than metadata Instagram can directly scan.

If you want Instagram to pick up on your keywords, it’s better to add the text directly in the Instagram app

I'm sure IG is still read the text even if it's within the image. But yes the bigger results are going to be determined by whether it hits home and resonates with the target viewed I imagine.

i'd say stick to IG's own texts. while you may still use your preferred ones, you can still incorporate some of ig's text and maybe resize it way too smaller so people won't see it but you'll still get additional tractions.

I use this method brother. I add the captions in my video editing software or canva. Then I add a second text on ig with all keywords and hide it under the video so it can't be seen by the viewer, but ig still recognizes it.
