Just curious.. have you ever wondered how things might be different if you'd invested in Bitcoin a few years back? Do you have any thoughts or regrets about getting into (or not getting into) Bitcoin when it first started gaining traction?

I put 1000USD in Doge somewhat in 2013... it surprises me how my life would be look like if I just invested in BTC.

Do you think it is not too late?

Yeah, let's see what will the future bring. If it hits 1 million..

Different strokes for different folks. Learn from the past and move on.
There is no need fretting about something you cannot change

You are right about it.

i think everyone in the online space regrets it lol, my older bro told me stories bout buying 100s of bitcoin when they were 60 dollars a piece. of course he didnt hold. to be able to hold all those years takes lot of patience.

Had the opportunity to get in at 1000 usd. But honestly back then I had no knowledge. Also with all fairness there wasn't much awareness. I got in at 15k and still dca

I am content now. Once a while there is always a sense of disappointment ngl. But that how it is I guess

Focus on what is the next Bitcoin. It's still early for a lot of these cryptos

If you study the market in the past 100 years, there has been numerous assets/ assets classes that have had hyperbolic return like BTC, probably happens every 5-10 years.

It is never too late to start investing, as we are talking now, there are some "coins" or stocks or new assets that might just 100x in the next 5-10 years. We just don't know which.

There's still plenty of :poop: coins you could put your money into right now.

yeah, I knew was a good idea then I listen people and how dangerous that was, I could have a different life but since that never happen I don't worry too much about it now.

That's not something you wish even to think about.

But to add something to the thread, a friend of mine bought 150k of BTC before 1st price peak.

He was in plus $20k per coin at least, and he managed to fuck that up and end nowhere during the years, with that thing.

Everything is possible.

All the big institutions are in now, and they can manipulate the price very easily.

Plus, BTC used to have a meaning, representing freedom against the tax terrorism we are living under.

The idea is very romantic.

Robin Hood comes, creates a mysterious cryptocurrency called BTC, and then disappears...

For me, it's a creation of the Elite. Call me a conspiracy theorist if you want.

1000 usd in 2013 in doge must have also given you good returns. Right?

I know this is one of those questions that always come up, but let's be real, how many people actually bought, lets say 100 or 1,000 BTC when the price was just $10, or even $100, and then held on until it reached $50,000?

A friend of mine from Croatia bought some back in 2013 when it was around $10 or $15, just before that first 'boom', and she even told me to invest.

I was about to buy 100 BTC, but I ran into some issues with the bank.

And honestly, even if I had managed to buy it at that price, 100 BTC for $10 each, I probably would’ve sold as soon as the price hit $50 or $100.

I would likely sell 50 BTC and maybe wait for it to reach $200 before selling the other 50.

That would’ve been it, I would’ve ended 2013/14 with a few thousand in profit.

Anyway, my question is, how many people do you know who bought BTC when it was just $10 and still hold some today?

It’s easy to look back with hindsight over a 10+ year period.

Realistically, I believe most people would have sold at least 50% as soon as they could double their money and then played around with the remaining BTC.

I guess that less than 0.00001% of holders actually held onto their BTC for 12 years without selling a single coin.

Of course, some do, but they are rare. It’s in our nature to take that higher ROI when we see it.
