I have a website in Dutch. I want to build clone websites manually in other languages (like German/French/Spanish) on another url.

What translator would you recommend for this?

Google Translate / Deepl / something else?

If you want quality work, use Google translate. The alternatives are not even close.

+1 for Deepl,
The only unconvenience that it have some limitations for free accounts/users,
You can bypass these by using DeeplX, it's easier to install & use with python

I'm surprised nobody mentioned ChatGPT! :)

Here's the thing that no other translation tool can do, ChatGPT allows you to add that 'extra' human touch to translations in any language, delivering a high-quality result.

I was doing this for a few websites about a year ago, and the client was amazed when I translated and published some articles into Spanish.

The translations had a mix of a natural, human-like feel that made a real difference.

same +1deepl
for a free premium account, use a new account + VCC, and you'll get 1 month of premium. Then repeat with another account.

DeepL > Google translate

I use VSCode + Github Copilot to translate HTML pages directly in the code. It's smart enough to translate only text strings and not tags, attributes etc.

I recommend you to use Chatgpt or Gemini. There is a world of difference between artificial intelligence translation and translation bot.

You can try Gemini or Claude :D

DeepL is generally more accurate than Google Translate for nuanced translations, making it ideal for creating multilingual websites.

OpenAI and Make.com will help you do it easily and seamlessly

For manual website translation, DeepL is often recommended due to its high-quality translations and natural language flow, especially for European languages like German, French, and Spanish.

Google Translate is also a solid option and offers broader language support, but it might be less nuanced compared to DeepL.

Using a combination of both tools can help ensure accuracy. Additionally, consider hiring a native speaker or professional translator for the best results, especially for nuanced content.
