400 Backlinks from 1 Blog comment?

hi there,

i commented a blog one week ago and checked my backlinks today... 400 (!) backlinks (appears as if I commented every single post on that blog) from that blog, how can that be?

sorry for noob question, but i dont get it!?

Yes, that happens quite often but the SE's will often only weigh this as one link since it's one unique I.P.

Well i recently posted a comment on a page with PR 7 , instant approval....Now i am getting consistently 10-50 backlinks indexed in yahoo explorer a day...Not sure about google...But still...
Pr7 , and still growing...
If only i could find a foorprint for something like this...

There are a lot oof plugins, maybe you are top commenter or something else, but i think Last commenter, because you get indexed so much links very fast, that means site have good authority

google will count it as only 1 backlink.
need to have a unique ip

You may have got top commenter or recent comments and it will soon be gone... So don't bank on... Also Google only counts it as single link... In some SEO expert's view we should avoid getting thousands of backlinks from a single site and that too very fast, but some differ to this also... I am not sure about it but i usually avoid this strategy...
