Are any of these sites like Constant-Content but essentially article dumps? Constant-Content is fussy and doesn't like first person. I'd like somewhere to just spam add my articles for set price "usage" rights and make a little bit extra. Does such a place exist?

This is such a huge list of resource for writers. Sure would have taken a lot of time to compile this awesome list.

Between Demand Studios, Break Studios, and Brighthub I'm making a steady $80+ a day! (which might as well be $1,000, relative to where I was BEFORE I started..lol!) I love to write so it's a dream gig for me.

These 3 pay between $8 and $15 per article and are all pains in the ass to get "accepted" into, but I did a TON of research about submission guidelines and spiffed up my resume before applying.

Even though Break Studios pays the least of the 3, I like it the best because the articles are about fun stuff like "How to Make a Daft Punk Suit" (article I actually wrote earlier) and they can be as short as 250 words.

I hope to break into freelancing after compiling a good portfolio and my goal is to eventually make $75 per HOUR. :pray2:

• As far as spamming your link, I doubt any of these are good for that purpose, sorry.

• eHow is now owned by Demand Studios, so they are a pain in the ass to get into as well. They pay $15 per accepted article. Probably not a place to make "quick" money. Textbroker is your best bet for that I think.

I've got to say, your list is incredibly impressive. I've been wanting to get into writing for awhile now, but I knew AC wasn't a very good option. However, I think the best site may be the one you just posted, for newbies at least. The chance to give aspiring writers a chance to earn right away and get some much needed experience for the big boys at the top. Gotta say, I'll be having some fun for awhile!

I wish you MASSIVE success! Writing may not be something that will make you $20K a day or whatever (although, if you play your cards right, you can do VERY well.) The great part about it is that you never have to worry about Facebook shutting down your page or Google changing their stupid algorithm and destroying your empire in one fell swoop. :thumb:
 
Right now I'm making a ridiculously low amount for the hours I work, about $20.00 a day now. To be fair, a lot of that is learning how to use my time effectively instead of getting distracted. That and about $1.00 a day in ad revenue, which is where I'd ideally like to be making my money.

I like Demand Studios, but a huge part of my online money adventures involves a dislike for rules and constraints. I find most of the topics dull and the SEO requirements a nuisance. Honestly, I think to get views with writing, you have two options. SEO at the expense of quality or quality at the expense of SEO. Thinks like first person can really improve writing. People are so isolated from everyday life they enjoy feeling like they're being talked to by someone.

I need to go to a site or something that lets me just put anything I've written up and let people offer for usage. Constant Content disliked first person as well. So annoying.

Great list indeed.

I already had the WSo and it was already on my list of things to try, so i applied to all the ones that seemd legit and worthwhile.


  • AC is AC... accepted & paid, but not much.
  • Rejected by Demand Studios
  • Rejected by Constant Content.
  • Accepted by 4witers.net, but don't like them - their article requirements are far too technical for the casual writer.

Waiting for several others to accept.
 
Thank you very much for this incredible list. Most of the sites are new to me and I'm looking forward to exploring. I'm mostly a fiction writer, but can write non-fiction and obviously that's the way to make money so a combo of both would be ideal.
