Lately, there has been a proliferation of meme coins. Some members here create these coins hoping to attract investors with minimal or no plans for effective marketing and promotion across different platforms.

Some people have the erroneous notion that once a meme coin is launched, people will buy it with minimal effort. Every day, a new meme coin is launched with no plans to invest enough in promotion. I know this from my interaction with creators. What I have discovered is that most of these creators are not aware that they need to spend good money on marketing.

On KuCoin, new coins are listed almost every day, and these coins have good marketing budgets. Someone who creates a meme coin and budgeted $5-20 or even $100 for promotion is in for a rude shock. Looking to shill with the help of bots on Telegram is not enough, and you may not get enough investors to even recoup your investment.

Then whats the solution??

CRYPTO PR??

They want easy money or maybe they have zero knowledge and thinkg that just creating the coin and share it in social media is enough, now most of the people is aware of crypto scams and they have their eyes open for this kind of things.

Most will still do this mistake even after reading this. They will learn after repeated failures.

I somewhat wish that the trend of spamming memecoins ends so crypto can focus on utility and appear less scammy. It just hurts adoption ultimately.

This has been going on for far longer than this current market cycle. People have been pumping out memecoins by the dozen simply based off of hype and speculation.

Every market run-up there’s a huge amount of new investors looking for that next 100x which is what drives this.

The ones with the 'plans' tend to have the worst performance ironically.

I’m interested in launching my own meme coin and would appreciate your advice. Could you please share the steps involved and an estimate of the budget required

There are guides on the forum already. You can search some YouTube tutorials videos too.

That’s pretty much what you get in a market full of people waiting to jump into speculative assets without doing their due diligence. If you look on the current launchpads it’s just one P&D after the other.

$100 for promoting a crypto coin is a joke. You need much more than that just for a chance to stand out. If you want to get really rich with the coin, you will have to invest in millions first.

That applies to most of online products. Like there are users making apps. But to promote apps, one needs lot of funding.

true, I wouldn't say millions though, for about 200k you can do a successful launch

I am agree to this :- Every market run-up there’s a huge amount of new investors looking for that next 100x which is what drives this
