Just typed in "google ads" and got this as the first result:

Clicking on it will lead me to here:
1728758890834.png
Which is just a screenshot of Google Ads login page. Clicking on it brings to a google styled phishing site.
Now how can it be they literally use Google Ads own domain to host another site?
 
This is some high level cloaking.

Anything can basically be done.

Not that spectacular, tbh
 
Most phishing adverts habitually use Google redirects, and many people on Bing use this method.

However, the URL will not survive for long, and when you check it again in a few days, the URL has been blocked.
 
You can see this just by looking at Google's tracking template guide page
 
It's just a way to track the template. It's not that hard.
