okk so basically im selling replicas and one buyer won it about 4 days ago

he has sent me about 3 messages wanting confirmation about whether or not it is the real thing before he sends payment

i dont know what to do in this situation

You better be honest if you dont want a bad rep, also if you tell him it's real you probably have to send the money back so you will loose money with paypal fees if you use them.

so i would be honest and just relist the item :)

Don't cheat if your not able to keep yourself clean :)

yea thats why im probably going to not do this anymore after i sell my last 2 things....it was quick money though :( and easy but it doesnt feel right

anyways, should i just be straight up with him and ask for not a bad rep

or should i be like i bought it for really cheap at a flea market in California so it probably is fake

isnt there a way i can say he never paid me and thus wont allow him to give me a bad rep

Nope. Just be honest and cancel the transaction or you could get into big trouble with PayPal. I'm assuming you don't want your account frozen for 6 months!

Tell him that at the time you posted the auction you thought it (they?) were authentic. Play nice and dumb and say you've done some research or someone you know saw the item and told you it was fake, and that you're sorry and will give him an immediate refund/and or cancel the auction. Anyone with that many inquiries has too much time on their hands and will go to the ends of the earth to cause you grief in my experience!

Thank the gods for second chance offers. ;) I would just ignore him and if he tries shit, file a non-paying bidder claim. He did win the item, which means he is bound by contract to pay for it per ebay's TOS. You're in the right here, not him. If he was gonna bombard you with stupid questions he should have done it before he bid.

I'd tell him you believe it is the real thing but don't know for 100% sure because you bought it second hand as well...

In this case you just play dumb, tell him the place you purchased it from told you it was real & it looked real to you. Then let him know you'll do whatever he wants to accomidate him. If he wants to return it, good. Just cancel the transaction & sell it to someone else

Same thing happend to me, I ended up sending it, and he left pos feedback lol.

just send it.

u are already doing it so talk like u bought the real thing :)
