Hey all,
I used to run a large IPTV business (formerly cccam) before departing the industry back in 2016 due to stability issues and IP blocks, coupled with piivoting to other industries.

Fast forward to today, I stumbled across the email lists I had from my former operations and this caused me to look back into the niche. I'm currently a master reseller for another provider, with plans to potentially switch to my own setup all those years ago; depending on what discounts the supplier offers me as I grow.

Naturally with an email list of 4000~ former customers, this has given me a strong start. I won't go into more detail about this because it will skew the perceived progress on this thread. All I will say is that it's given me a reasonable budget to compete in the upper reaches of Google for the majority (if not all) terms over the medium term.

I've used this money to purchase multiple domains (expired/caught), purchase significant credit deals and buy backlinks.

I used to use social media but my main focuses on gaining customers will be organic search, cold & warm email, and referral schemes + affiliate.

I'll update the thread weekly based on the work I've done on the website, I'll also include some stats and screens which you may find interesting, i.e customers gained p/w, website growth and development, turnover and profit.

I'll happily answer any questions posted in this thread. I have a large amount of experience in this field and I'm hoping to prove some significant SERP gains within the next 2-3 months.

Wish me luck!

Hey, that’s an impressive comeback! Leveraging your old email list and focusing on organic search and referrals sounds like a smart plan.
Are you sticking with just organic methods, or will you try paid ads later? Also, curious if you’re using any new tools for email marketing since your last IPTV run.
Looking forward to your updates—best of luck!

Update 6th October
Sorry for the delay in updating this thread, a few updates for you!

I have removed one of the 301 redirects to the main domain after failing to get the URL indexed, I think it's history may have something that I've missed which could possibly lead to negative results. I've already purchased another expired domain to replace it with good metrics and link profile (30+ DA, news site links etc).

In terms of the website itself I have expanded from a simple 1 page HTML site which was initially loosely targeting my home location and one other neighboring territory. I am about halfway through the process of adding additional pages both for locations and to the build the site out. We sit at 13 pages now with another 21 planned this week coming.

I've purchased some social links direct to the money site and have a low cost campaign which will begin on the 29th. This will aquire me 20 links from TV/Stream related websites, for a cost of $150.00 (payment not due till 29th). I have inspected the package in depth and expect to see some good results. Again, this links will go direct to homepage at this stage - with plans to build links to deeper pages put on paper for November onwards.

As a result of all the work above, I've done very little cold emailing, nor have I really worked my list. However, sales have continued through referral, mostly. However the website has already made 4 sales confirmed, since the 25th September website launch - so pretty happy with this.

The Numbers 25th Sep - 06 OCT
Sales: $419.89
Costs: $65.00
Profit: $354.89

Traffic to Site: 103 New Users
Launched 25th Sep (Expired/Caught domain)

The last few weeks have been heavily focused on the site & forward planning, this will likely be a trend that continues until the end of this month.
November will see an a more active push to generate sales, including working the existing list harder and firing cold campaigns.
I expect to see significant gains from the website on the basis of our targeting so look for big jumps Nov through Dec.
I'll start posting screenshots with thread updates from November onwards once they're worth looking at!

Cheers,
XG

We used paid ads in the past, we won't be going down this route for this project, Couple reasons, cost for acquisition is much higher now because many enquiries are just for free trial abuse etc. Furthermore, poking your head that high above the crowd can bring unwanted attention in terms of blocks, both for your service & your payment solutions. Our provider is pretty good at patching blocks if/when they occur, though. But seriously, we don't need paid ads. All the budget saved is going into web development and link profiles.

Our sole customer acquisition methods will be; Cold/Warm Email, Existing Customers, Organic Search, Referrals

We have been using Gmail - around 100 emails per day, nothing heavy... to work our existing list. Not ran into any issues. Emails are landing in inbox. This is simply because of the relatively small daily send though, so we certainly need to look into email solutions when we attack cold email... likely from mid November onwards.

Update 11 Oct 2024
Quick update on the progress we've made. We're in talks with a few providers for email servers & lists so we can ramp up our cold email outreach.
We've also added a blog on a subdomain, using the lightweight Astra theme. The idea is to target low hanging keywords related to IPTV questions and tutorials etc- and then funnel this traffic to the main site with a view to converting into $$$.

We are continuing to invest in links, mainly niche edits and some social links.
Also, we're looking for dropped/caught domain opportunities to throw up some basic sites and link straight back to the MS. Essentially a little PBN.

All our recent changes on-site have now been indexed and impressions / clicks are growing daily. I'll start dropping some screenshots in this thread probably from the end of October, indefinitely.

Sales have been steady - whilst not exceptional. Mainly as we have been focusing on on/off-page strategies & the blog. We haven't worked the existing customer list much in the past week. Will send out 200-300 emails today.

If you ever plan to need an IPTV Seller in Spain, contact me. I think we can generate a lot of money in my country. I know a little bit of this themes.

Good luck.
Could you recommend your provider?
That's where I'm currently having challenges, I am looking for a reliable IPTV provider I can start my journey with.

Following this. Would love to know the provider plus your website link.

Not willing to reveal our provider, on the basis that we are a master reseller (I have resellers under me) so it doesn't make sense to do so.
Similarly, won't be revealing the website link as our main source of traffic/sales will be, and as is quickly becoming, organic search - naturally concerns over the BHW pro's being able to reverse engineer our efforts!

Proper update to follow towards the back end of this week. Big gains in the SERPS and a few other updates will be covered.

Thanks, but we already have excellent Spanish streams.

No problem, but maybe I explained myself wrong. I saw that you were looking for resellers from the UK, and I thought you might be interested in a reseller from Spain with future dedicated website to sell to spanish clients (and more). Is a new proyect for myself.

Since you are a master reseller, how can one become a reseller under you.

Any guides or courses you recommend to get started?

A simple Google search will enlighten you on the various panels available, and there's plenty of providers who offer reseller access.

In terms of courses, I don't think so. But if you ask specific questions (technical, marketing, sales etc), I will do my best to answer.
