Streaming on X and I must be doing something wrong

How do I fix it so anyone can chat with me during a stream?

I just finished testing going live on X.
The stream was good BUT.... No one could interact /chat with me.

The X /twitter said that I had limited the ability to chat with me.
I don't know how I might have done that.

2 hours of searching and I can't find an answer from google

You should be able to regulate who can send your DMs through your account settings. Vital piece of kit there.

You can check to see if there are any restrictions on who can interact with your posts or streams in your account settings on Facebook. Look for any options related to "Privacy and Security" or "Monetization" that might affect chats.

I 'believe' that I have it figured out.

When broadcasting (going live) on X /twitter, the icons in the app are muted into the background and easily overlooked. Add that all X /twitter's help section is either outdated or poorly documented and it's an easy problem to get stuck on.

And I agree that it can be as bad as Elon's golf carts.
