First of all, I apologize for my English. 2 months ago I opened a new website, I spent a lot of money and created a strong authoritative link structure. But it is not in any ranking yet. They said that there is a probation period for new websites, so it will wait in the sandbox for a while. Is this true?

Also, Before opening a new website with new domain, they said that if you buy a domain from Godaddy auction without deleting it, there will be no probation period and no sandbox, is this true?

Google typically holds new domains back from ranking well for a while, partly to filter out spammy sites. It’s not a strict rule, but for a brand-new domain, you might not see movement for 3-6 months, even with strong links.

yeah, I don't see any movement.

Yes, there is such a filter in place.

It came into action back in the day when churn & burn websites were really rampant.

They were not able to make money like they used to so the spam went down.

It is possible it will not be there or reduced but it's not 100%.

Especially if you change a lot from the original.

In your opinion, how many months does this sandbox period last on average? My site has been in the system for 2 months now.

3-6. In extreme cases 9.

After that I would not even call it sandbox. There is some more serious filter in place.
