I’m considering using ChatGPT to write scripts for my YouTube channels. However, I’ve heard that YouTube might detect the use of ChatGPT and that it could affect my monetization, either by preventing it from being enabled or shutting it down if it is. Is this true? Will using ChatGPT for long videos be a problem? Do I need to add originality to the content?

I don't have issue on mine I also use chatgpt to write script on my yt channel

You can rephrase your content by adding some ideas of yours to avoid plagiarism.

Depending on the severity of your violation, if the AI you use is purchased, you can absolutely make money from the AI.

if it's just the script, i don't think there's much a problem. just don't rely on chatgpt that much so you'll be much safer lol. you can tweak them and make them sound more human.

true. as long as the video content is entertaining and not full-chock of words that screams thesaurus, it will be fine! haha

Get the script ready and you can easily find a re-writing tool from Google and change the entire text to something more of a human script.
We would suggest instead of doing all this just hire a script writer, if you do not want to waste your time through this process and if you have got a decent budget.

You can use chatgpt to write scripts. You can ensure originality by asking chatgpt to check uniqueness of the script as well.

Youtube can detect AI content. So you better reconstruct the content you take from chatGPT and then make videos. or make some changes that can make a video look organic.

Many creators are using chatgpt for scripts. But smart work is there that you modify the script a little bit. Human touch is required so that the video is able to make a connection with audience.

they won't delete your video but without human touch, people will simply ignore your video, low retention rate and you'll create irrelevant content
It will not affect your monetization, many channels alaready earning with same chatgpt help. But making the channel veey big is something that AI content is not capable of doing.

As long as your video follows the monetization policy, just make sure your video is not too generic.
