This this move the comments to the top.

In my own subreddits, they remain there for years. Mine's still there after 3 years.

In any other subreddit, it depends if the mods recognize the blackhat tactics involved or not I guess.

It should stay alive as long as the thread is live and if the moderator has not removed or flagged yor comment withe the live links. That method though is one of the oldest tricks on the book and moderators and the reddit bot are smart these days.

Yeah, looks like this method is over. A well known reddit comment seller (not from bhw) just told me no links or domain.
No link or domain pretty much kills this method, isn't it?

Pretty much, most subreddit mods will auto report the link entry for review or removal. Once you have too many removals for spam, reddit nukes the whole account

As long as the original post stays live or until it irritates a mod. I've had comments deleted almost immediately after adding links.

Very active subs where mods are equally active engaging, tend to delete comments quicker than others.

The best thing to do with Reddit marketing these days is have your own sub. It gives you a little more power/control. But growing sub membership is the difficult part.

It can work on some subreddits (usually the smaller ones) if you do it very carefully. What I mean by that is using an established account, making one comment per subreddit and sending upvotes at a slow pace.

It has to be done on reddit posts that are ranking on Google.
0 traffic 0 conversion/sale.
You are doing it wrong, it all starts with Google traffic. Or some traffic. even reddit traffic. Once the post is identified, then comes the comment spamming. Upvote is last piece of the puzzle. The last duck in the row.
Not the other way around.

Sadly it' the only way to have a little bit more control of your promotional content. Remember, the reason we're running from one platform or another is due to lack of control. You could be making xyz today and tomorrow you're back to zero because they don't want or like you anymore.

Having a link in your comment usually gets deleted, i do have few subreddits and usually i delete those comments because reddit it self flag them and you can see on the dashboard that it is a spam, but on my own subreddits i post links and pinne the post and aprrove it (because i can ) using an other account not the main one , and i have never build any of the subreddits i own i do have some experience in karma farm and how to behave on reddit and find subreddits in specific niche to acquire on reddit request, thats how did it.

I don't think you understand what I'm saying

I understand that the Reddit thread has to be ranking on Google. What I'm telling you is "comment spamming" is the worst possible way to approach this. Most threads that rank on google are locked and others are older threads. Reddit's spam filter and moderators will usually either remove your comment on these threads or upvotes will not go through no matter how many you send.

The only way to for this method to work as of now is to find a thread that ranks on Google but is in a subreddit that has lax moderation, make a mindful comment (don't "spam") and very slowly send upvotes...

There is a risk of complaints from reddit users with this method. I would not do this on a very valuable account, but use a backup account that is safe to lose
