Does Twitter still remove the Blue Tick if you edit the bio?

I know at one point, if someone on Premium changed their Bio description, the blue tick disappeared for days/weeks.

Does anybody know if this still happens?

Yes, if you edit your profile, like changing your bio, Twitter may temporarily remove the Blue Tick for a review. It should come back once the review is done, but it might take a few days.

Yes. If you update, the blue tick will not appear for a very long time.

It take some time to get back the blue tick after you update bios and profile picture. It will usually be back in 1-2 days but may vary

It does happen for some profile changes, not sure how long it takes to lift these days though or if the limitation is uniform across every change.

What is the reason for doing this and is it written in their terms and conditions? Someone would have already sued them if they were really doing this.

Update:

I tried it. The tick remained.

But I didn't add a URL, it was just an additional bit of text. Whether there's a delay if I add a URL, not yet known.
