Question about motivational content “edits”

What’s up with the accounts on tiktok that are posting motivational edits containing snipped from podcasts or something usually with influential names like Joe Rogan, Bob Proctor, Jordan Petersen, etc. that get sh!t loads of views?

I see some pages usually just direct linking to clickbank offers from their bio link.

Is there some sort of loophole in re-editing popular content where tiktok doesn’t automatically flag these videos as not unique?

It seems there are well established pages using only other people’s content or snippets from popular podcasts and getting nice amounts of views.

If I did the same with my own account which has 100% unique content currently but included videos like the ones described above (motivation/manifestation), would it be a good or bad idea?

For a while, I was affiliate marketing supplements for bodybuilders on Tiktok and imitated all the similar channels, making motivational and educational videos about testosterone. All sources are taken from Youtube and I just edited it a little with subtitles, almost no problem. Some videos will have limited distribution due to "non-original content" but these videos only take about 10 minutes to create, and in no way affect my channel's ability to distribute. I myself don't understand what happens there, but it seems Tiktok is a place full of randomness.

why’d you stop marketing the supplements? Seems like that would be evergreen.

Because affiliate marketing brings in very little money. I remember that product gave me about 10% commission on each purchase, but they only viewed the content and didn't buy much. Content that has a few hundred thousand views gets about 10+ orders. I found that niche not suitable so I changed direction. Also, I can't spam that much content, about 3 - 5 per day max. Affiliate marketing is really ineffective with this type of content, they will buy if it is content with real people reviewing, holding up the product and talking about its uses and usage experience. You can absolutely try working with other niches, choose a hot industry and create content about it, see if they buy a lot or not? Later, I used the source from Douyin and affiliate marketing some cheap technology items (headphones, power banks, charging cords,...) and things were better. You can repost any type of content if you know video cloaking technics
