Good question. Usually comments deleted by Reddit are hidden, shadowbanned or purely deleted and don't come with a deletion notification at all. Still, by how advanced and customizable the subreddit moderation tools became, these signals may overlap and the true deletion cause is hard to tell.

If the comment was deleted by reddit spam filters then reddit deleted it, if not, it was deleted by the mods

The moderation can have moderation enabled in subbredit setting
