Competition is probably insane but the view retention is high and likely you will get higher watch rates (higher percentage of your video will be seen as opposed to other niches)

My daughter used to do YouTube videos, she was under the age of 10. Competition is huge, but it depends what type of sub niche you are going for. She amassed quite a lot of subscribers in a short time.

The only drawback is probably having to turn on children's videos and having comments turned off. This niche is very profitable (because retention rates are usually very high - kids will either watch your entire video or just turn it on and leave it there). But it's extremely difficult at the moment, because so many people have done it and this type of content is not too difficult to make. Try your best, buddy!

CPC might be less but it will be compensated by higher number of views. There is lot o scope in children content as use if mobile is increasing in children.

Once your channel goes viral your earnings will be huge until that you will have to give a great tough to your competitors. Focus on topics like cartoons, story telling, animations. If you could attract the crowd there then your views would skyrocket and eventually make you earn much money from that.
