Is this a reddit glitch

I have a reddit account when I check it via the profile link it show banned but when I check the profile link via old.reddit it show the profile

If you are using www. and you went to your profile and it says that, then it's banned unfortunately

Perhaps you could try contacting Reddit support to appeal the decision.

old.reddit
New.reddit
Sh.reddit

They all use a different form to indicate someone is banned


Old.reddit ( user not found ) means shadowbanned

the other versions just show suspended for either banned or shadowbanned.

If you go to reddit.com/appeal while logged in, it will show you a message whether you can appeal or not.
If you can appeal there is something wrong with your account, If NOT your account is visible for everyone

I think it means that the account is banned from certain communities or subreddits but may still exist in a general sense. The old site sometimes displays profiles differently, so it can give you access to view your profile even if you can’t use the account normally
