SafeSearch Filter Issue on My Website - Seeking Advice

Hello everyone,

I run a website for a swingers club, and I've recently realized that the site is being affected by Google's SafeSearch filter, meaning it's hidden from users who have SafeSearch turned on.

The site itself doesn't contain explicit content per se, but there are some flyers that feature revealing outfits (deep cleavages, exposed backsides) and some influencer presentations, where the influencers are scantily dressed as well.

I came across an article on Google's documentation suggesting the use of the following meta tag: <meta name="rating" content="adult">.

1. Would it be useful to add this tag to specific pages with potentially explicit content?
2. Could this help lift the global SafeSearch filter on the site and make it apply only to those specific pages? (Source: Google SafeSearch Documentation).
3. Has anyone here experienced a similar issue? If so, what did you do, and did it work for you?

you can add the <meta name="rating" content="adult"> tag to specific pages with potentially explicit content may help signal to Google that those pages should be treated differently in terms of SafeSearch filtering while it might not guarantee the lifting of the global filter, it could potentially reduce the impact on your site as a whole allowing users with SafeSearch enabled to access non-explicit content more easily
