Hey everyone!
Here, I want to optimize Facebook ad campaigns. Which tactics have worked best for you in terms of audience targeting and conversions? Please share your creative ad formats or any tips related to budget management and funnelling. Let’s share our insights!

Can you share more about your goals?
Increase traffic, increase followers for the page? Get more leads or increase sales conversion?

First, thank you for this question

I think optimizing FaceBook ad campaigns can be significantly improved by precisely targeting audiences using Custom Audiences and Lookalike Audiences, which utilize existing customer data. Dynamic ads and carousel formats often boost engagement by showcasing multiple products or features.
For budget management, you should begin with A/B testing on a smaller budget to identify high-performing ads, then gradually scale successful campaigns, implement a funnel strategy that includes awareness, consideration, and conversion stages to effectively guide potential customers.

Hope this will be useful for you!

I don't know what niche you're working with, but if it's finance - I suggest you read the thread I posted earlier

Let's start with the most important thing: the target audience. The target audience for payday loans is broad, as anyone might need money urgently. For such people, speed, ease of use, data protection, non-disclosure of information to third parties, loan amounts, repayment terms, and low interest rates are important.

Money may be needed for the following purposes: repairs, education, business, until payday, paying off previous loans, medical treatment, urgent purchases, etc. Usually, loans are taken by people who have been denied by banks and those who do not have a stable income.

At this stage, we understand that the "broad" targeting setting is likely to suit us for payday loan offer ads - men and women over 20-22 years old. This depends on the geo where you target your ad. That is, we take the "entire" Facebook audience and let the algorithms find the most relevant users to show the ads.

In addition to the "broad" audience of 20-55, men and women, we can show ads to people who are looking for jobs, women with children, casino players (of course, if this aligns with your moral principles).

Banners

Affiliates try to avoid words like “microcredit,” “payday advance,” etc., in their banners. Although there are instances where ads containing these stop words are not blocked by Facebook, such cases are rare and exceptions. At the same time, we must clearly convey to the user what we are advertising. Therefore, we indicate the loan terms, amounts, and depict bank cards and phone screens on the banners.

In my experience, utilizing Facebook's Custom Audiences for retargeting and Lookalike Audiences for reaching new potential customers has been highly effective.

I run outreach then see which campaigns meet my needs then I will leave them and which ones exceed my spend I will turn off and start multiplying the appropriate campaigns on the iterative journey

What type of ads are you looking to do and what is your business that you want to promote? Please answer these two questions first because it Facebook ads for a pest control business would be different for a clothes eshop for example.

effective strategy needs a quality page, which you pay attention to and build
- attractive images, with accompanying content
- need to get quality customer data by setting up a 1-day or 2-day interactive bait camp to evaluate
- the campaign needs to have a suitable audience and know how to arrange the audience according to the product's goals
to me, that is a professional way and difficult for people who do not have advertising skills

In my opinion, there are many factors,
1: Your image must be attractive
2: Your text must have interesting content right from the first paragraph to make customers curious
3: What is the target audience and age of your product?

No target is effective, focus on your images and content, change when it is not effective

Most of the basic advice you will get online. But as a beginner you just need to be patient and let FB run its algorithm for 4-5 days in order to learn enough and optimize itself. If your creatives are not working, it will automatically prompt you to change by saying something like "Your ad is in the bottom 20%" or something like that.

One of the most effective strategies is to use Lookalike Audiences.

I think we should create a series of campaigns for about 10 camps, then after 2-3 days if we see which camp is effective, use it or turn it off. Camps with good parameters will be promoted to similar camps

beginners you need to be patient and let FB run its algorithm for 6-7 days to learn enough and optimize yourself. If your creatives are not working, it will automatically remind you, then you can modify your post and remember when you run ads you must cover the brand logos or it will be scanned.

You must have 2 type of audience running in your campaigns - An outreach audience and a retarget audience.
Video ad and dynamic/carousel ads work best.
You can build an outreach audience from lookalikes of a custom audience, lookalikes of people who watch more than 3 secs of your video ad.

People who have engaged your ad, should go into retarget audience. Lookalike should go into outreach audience

Anyone that engages or take action on your ad must be split into one of this two audience for you to get the most out of ad spend

For a campaign to have good conversions, you need to have attractive content and images to attract many potential customers.
You can advertise multiple campaigns with a small budget to evaluate the results of each campaign. Any campaign with good results will focus on expanding its scale.

What field do you want to promote? Because each field will have its own characteristics. First, figure out the target audience you want to reach

You should split your ad groups into smaller groups to see which groups are delivering to the right audience, and turn off high-cost groups.

I think targeting audiences and interests is no longer effective when Facebook has AI that automatically distributes according to the results achieved.

It depends on the type of business product you are asking for, I need more information about it
