Does anyone have experience with monetizing MMO Games? I believe there’s potential, but I’m struggling to figure out where to start.
Based on my research, it seems like running utility bots (for trading, support, gambling) or farming bots might be the best approach. I have coding experience, but it appears that the scripts for well known games are really tough to make. The scripts for these bots are quite expensive, and I’m unsure if they're worth buying. I mean, if botting were that profitable, why would they sell the scripts instead of using them themselves?
Is anyone familiar with this topic? I know the money is out there, I use to make $100 a day grinding and selling currency in POE, but that required me to no life the game and I certainly don't have the time these days to do that anymore. I don’t expect it to generate insane amounts of money, but I believe there’s gotta be a way to make some decent cash from MMOs a bit more procedurally.
