Cache:url has been removed. What's the alternative way?

I usually check if the Google bot has crawled my site by typing cache:url in the search bar, but now Google has removed this feature. Is there a better way? Wayback Machine has been introduced by Google, but it has nothing to do with whether or not Google visited my site.

1. Just to see if it's indexed in google you just enter https://www.blackhatworld.com/seo/cache-url-has-been-removed-whats-the-alternative-way.1640386/ and search, if it's #1 (as it should be) then it's indexed. So it's easy to see if any page is indexed in google.
2. The problem arises when you need to check if google RE-indexed the page. Let's say I do a niche edit and I want to know when google last crawled that page to know if my niche edit is indexed. I normally used cache operator for that, now, I don't know what to use.

google with a double quote for whatever text you've added to the page/post,
usually while adding a link to any of the pbn websites, i just add a more specific section (that should fit naturally),
surrounded with 100-300 words of text and that's what you should be looking for,
if the page has been recrawled, the page will be showing up there,
if you're just adding a link using some random existing words as anchor, won't work tho

Yes, you're right. If I add some text to the existing page then I can google for that text.
The problem is that sometimes, I just add a link and here I'm screwed without the cache operator .

But the usefulness of that is pretty low. My advice is not to lament the loss, just move on.
