My Domain is Premium. But..

Hi, I have a domain name with a .com extension. The same domain name with a .net extension sells for $1500 with the premium tag. Now I would like to sell my domain. I am stuck with the Domain Name Appraisal. Can any experts here appraise my Domain?

Does it have old history, is it EMD of a highly searched keyword? Is it highly brandable? Is it related to a very competitive industry?

Edit: Another thing is that not all .com domains are more valuable than .net, one example could be if the extension Net is part of a word:

accurately appraising domains is hard, man! I've not seen a single good domain appraisal expert in over 16 years of SEO, so I don't think you're going to get an expert to appraise your domain for free here...

Also, the price tags that domain appraisal sites put on some domains are totally bogus and don't reflect the reality, these sites have their own internal mechanism of marketing the domains in order to sell them, they don't care if the price is accurate or not. Unfortunately, I don't know how they price these domains the way they price them, but I know that it's not an accurate representation, I've seen domain names valued at $1200 by EstiBot for example that were sold for only $260, and I've also seen domains priced at $138 being sold for $5000. It's rare, but it's happened, but the point is that - in the end - the domain will sell for whatever the buyer's willing to pay..

Anyway, @roydan was spot on with what you should learn to assess when appraising domain names, so start with those...

Highly search Keyword - Yes. CPC $10-18
Highly Brandable - Yes.
Competitive Industry - Yes.

History? I don't know what you mean by history. It is 16 years old without dropping.

I understood what you are saying about .net, but this is a different service-related keyword.

A .net sells for $1500 doesn't mean it's worth $1500 but if gets sold for $1500 then it is. There are millions of domains just sits there parked for hundreds, thousands of dollars no one buys.

EDIT: So many people look at SEO, which is fine—but if it's a brandable Domain, a blank SEO History is also quite good. as long as the Domain was not used for s****, which is reflected in WBM or indexed somewhere.
Im totally with you; we are here in a marketing Forum - Blank Domains, and mostly dont need any rough SEO value

It depends on hyphens, if there are letters in the domain letters, length, pronounceable, industry, TM / IP conflict - and many other factors.

1500$ is nothing for a decent Domain, especially not for gTLDs like ".net"

Edit: If this was just an example with the 1500,-$ i understood it wrong, sorry.
