It's a popular opinion that Web 3 is the future and an upgrade to what we currently have in Web 2, but at the moment it doesn't seem like it.

We still have issues with adoption, with a lot of people finding it difficult to interact with web3, mostly because of how "complicated" it is.

I feel like the ETFs have made it much easier for the “common” man to get involved these days, no complicated wallets of DeFi needed, just simple investing through institutions that offer it.

In my opinion the banks, governments and everyone in between have already accepted that the top coins, like btc & eth, are here to stay and therefore easier alternatives to invest in them are already being offered.

I think crypto in general gives a lot of spotlight for new start-ups and allows investing from retail traders that haven't participated in traditional investing like venture capitalist do.
