I think the best thing to do is do away with that mentality entirely. See it more as an investment and use funds from your current source of income to bet on larger cap plays with utility, BTC, ETH SOL etc. If you want to learn how to make money in memes use lower amounts reflective of what have to invest. e.g. Put 80% in the Big caps, 10% in small caps you research and believe in, 10% to gamble on meme/animal coins. To start off Youtube channels like Altcoin daily, Elliotrades and Alex Becker are most people's entry into learning about smaller cap coins. What would be your advice for newbies then, because a lot of them come in with the expectation of making some kind of crazy returns that would retire them for life.
This makes a lot of sense, thank you very much mate.I think the best thing to do is do away with that mentality entirely. I also recommend making a twitter account and following crypto influencers on there, you'll learn the culture and lingo etc but NEVER go over the 10% initial allocation no matter what and you will do well. Never be afraid to sell also when your are up significantly, these twitter/telegram communities will say anything to keep you holding and not selling, go in with the mentality they are all lying and just ride the hype and exit when you see signs of it fading. This makes a lot of sense, thank you very much mate.
Elon Musk no longer tweets in favor of dogecoin. Do not invest in any coin because of hype. Investment should be backed by real value in the coin. This might be an unpopular opinion, but I believe memecoins have really helped to lower the entry barrier for people wanting to get involved in the world of crypto, even more than the current mini game trend.
Take Dogecoin, for example, its rise in popularity, backed by high-profile endorsements from figures like Elon Musk, showed that you didn’t need deep technical knowledge to get involved.
There are so many examples like this, that makes it a lot easier for many people to invest and profit from crypto.
So, you recommend staying away?Unpopular opinion? More like a fact at this point. Memecoins are the gateway drug of crypto—cheap thrills, high risks, and no PhD required. Dogecoin definitely opened the floodgates, and now everyone’s out here hoping their $10 turns into Lambo money. Gotta love the wild ride!

Such a approach is very risky. Memecoins serve a different purpose, they are not for serious investors. If you are serious with the investment, you should invest only in coins like BTC.This might be an unpopular opinion, but I believe memecoins have really helped to lower the entry barrier for people wanting to get involved in the world of crypto, even more than the current mini game trend.
