Domains with Google Redirects

Im finding any company selling backlinks/packages etc send me samples or I join backlink marketplaces and I check the domains and a high percentage of these domains show huge dips in traffic within the last few months and also more importantly they have a large amount of Google Redirects with each one showing as a backlink in SEO tools like SEMRush, Ahref, SE Ranking, Ubersuggest.

These google redirect backlinks usually have a DA of 90+ however I have heard that google doesn't pay attention to these when grading a site for ranking purposes.

These high number of 90+ DA Google backlinks also seems to confuse SEO Tools and these tools display high DA's as a result which is misleading for people looking for backlink opportunities.

How do we scour through these and get to the bottom whether these domains are actually good and will benefit us with regards to getting a backlink with them?

They manipulate their metrics with google links and you dont want those backlinks to use...

Can anyone tell me a case where these would show up in your backlink profile besides to manipulate rankings?

If this is what you're talking about... Have around 1 year 1 month and 5 days left(From the time of this post) for these to even work then they'll all be dead.

That backlinks main purpose is to make high DR DA of the website so they can sell you guest posts for more money.

Ok but can you think of any legitimate reason why these backlinks would show in a websites profile (like a bunch of them)?

Like Maybe there was a website with high DA and the domain expired and someone else bought it, would they have to do a redirect through Google for anything that would cause all of these backlinks?

Check the traffic manually. Take a look at their backlink profile's history. If there are sudden spikes or a lot of questionable links, chances are it’s part of a PBN or been penalized.

Not referring to these short links, but rather Google redirects from all the various google domains like google.com, google.ca, (every country) including google image domains too.
