Hey,

I've been using an AI image generator for several months now, and in some ways, I still consider myself a beginner in this area. I’ve seen many stunning works in the community, but the prompts are often hidden by the authors. How can I extract prompts from these images? I believe that learning from them would greatly improve the quality of my generated images.

Any suggestions would be appreciated, thanks!

I completely understand. Popular AI image generators like Yodayo and Pixai don’t support this feature. However, you might want to try some lesser-known products like AnimeGenius, which allows you to extract prompts from images easily—just upload the image you want to analyze. If you find a piece of work you like in the AnimeGenius community but the prompt is hidden, you can simply click a specific button to view it. It's very convenient.

Thanks for your advice, I’ve tried it, really useful. And it’s essentially a free feature, haha!

The thing is it depends what AI you are using to generate to begin with.
What AI Image generator do you use?

Based on my personal testing, you can use :

1. Stable Diffusion (Runway)
2. DALL-E 3 (OpenAI)

The best AI image generators for converting images into prompts are MidJourney and Stable Diffusion. They offer high-quality results with detailed prompts, while tools like DALL·E from OpenAI also provide great capabilities for transforming images into creative text prompts.

So there's microsoft's vision llm called Florence2 you can use that to extract the details of the image. It'll write the caption of the image. I use that with flux cause it's trained on similar kind of captions. For stable diffusion I find those caption to work great. But it don't write nsfw caption. If the subject is naked in your image I'll not write it. It's free and opensource.

I personally use Florence2 directly in comfyui. But you can use from huggingface, for complely free. Link

Or you can use alternatives like COG, Or JoyCaptions, etc here one more direct huggingface link

There is Visionati — an image captioning, description, and analysis tool. It recognizes faces, detects brands from logos, filters content (including NSFW), and performs tagging.
